How important is press freedom in a healthy democracy? Join us for this fascinating evening about what journalism means for our society, and how you, as an individual citizen, can contribute to strengthening press freedom.

Press freedom is an indispensable part of democracy, but it is increasingly under pressure worldwide. In the Netherlands, too. That is why Free Press Unlimited, in collaboration with the Central Library, is organizing a free Masterclass on Press Freedom and Democracy. Press freedom deserves support and maintenance from everyone who stands for an open and democratic society.

In the Masterclass, you will learn more about the work of journalists worldwide and the problems they encounter, and you will have the opportunity to speak out. The Masterclass will be presented by Adjan van Dongen.
