After the Summit

  • Date: 30 June
  • Time: 17:00 - 19:00
  • Location: The Hague Humanity Hub

What are the implications of the summit for the Hague Community?

As NATO leaders gather in the International City of Peace and Justice, we call for a balanced vision of peace and security that is people-centered. At the opening of the Just Peace Festival, we launched a public statement calling for a more balanced and inclusive vision of peace and security. This is a call to action for leaders, communities and everyone who believes in a just future. One that asks: Is defense enough? Or do we also need courage, justice, dialogue and imagination?

The Hague Humanity Hub, in partnership with the Hague Center for Strategic Studies (HCSS) and the T.M.C. Asser Institute, invite you to join a panel of experts for an analysis of the summit's key discussions and crucial decisions and their impact on the Hague community and beyond.

Our speakers will provide insight on critical topics, including but not limited to support for Ukraine, strengthening European defense capabilities, transatlantic relations, and NATO's strategic adaptation to new and emerging threats.

This event provides a unique opportunity for professionals, academics, students and the interested public to participate in a session that evaluates the impact of these discussions and decisions and to better understand the forces shaping international peace and security.
