We live in a rapidly changing world. That world is the stage for journalists Ruben Terlou and Jelle Brandt Corstius. In their new theatrical production, these born storytellers take you on a journey through Eastern Europe and Asia.
In *Traveling Through a New World*, the new geopolitical reality takes on a human face. Through the encounters for their VPRO series, Terlou and Brandt Corstius tell the bigger story. They give us a glimpse into their lives as documentary filmmakers and all the poignant moments and remarkable events behind the scenes. What drives them to keep traveling?
We journey along the contours of a new world order, where US hegemony has collapsed and the vacuum is being filled by China and Russia. Where democracies are being replaced by autocracies. Where smaller countries like Taiwan and Ukraine threaten to lose out. And where Europe must find a new path.
