A debate on the future of Dutch governance, policy, and society in the aftermath of the 2025 general elections

Who will govern the Netherlands after the October elections? Can the looming crisis of political trust be averted? What might the results mean for Dutch policies on migration, climate, education, and social welfare? And how could the Netherlands’ position in Europe and the wider world shift?

The Institute of Public Administration is organising a roundtable discussion to address these pressing questions. Four experts from the institute will share their insights on the likely impact of the elections on Dutch governance, policy, and society — followed by a discussion with the audience.

This event is open to bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as anyone interested in Dutch politics and public affairs. Please register for the event via the link at the bottom of the page.
