Join Voices Beyond the Walls — a special concert in The Hague where music and poetry give a voice to people who cannot speak freely today.

In Belarus, hundreds of people are imprisoned because of their beliefs. Many have little to no contact with their families, who are left behind in uncertainty. This concert is a moment to come together, pause, and show solidarity.

MARA – Belarusians in the Netherlands is organizing this event in collaboration with Music for Belarus, to offer support to political prisoners and their families through culture and music.

Program:

The concert brings together chamber music, Belarusian musical traditions, and poetry. On stage:

Hanna Shybayeva — piano

Nadzeya Karakulka — Belarusian cymbals

Kardelen Buruk — viola

In addition, there will be poetry readings reflecting on freedom and human dignity.
