Climat Pavilion – A Living Lab for Activism
- Date: 11 June - 18 June
- Location: Atrium - City Hall

From June 11 to 18, the interactive exhibition Climat Pavilion – A Living Lab for Activism will transform the Atrium Den Haag into a place for critical engagement, experimentation, and connection.
As part of the Toolbox of Empowering Instruments project, the Climat Pavilion offers a dynamic platform for exploring activism, climate justice, and collaborative practices.
At the heart of the exhibition is the mobile pavilion, constructed from scaffolding—a structure that emerged from a six-month interdisciplinary think tank on art, activism, law, and international politics. The pavilion was originally intended as an observation platform for the International Court of Justice, but is now developing into a participatory space for discussion, performances, and commemorating justice in light of the climate crisis.
Interactive program
This exhibition is a toolkit in action. Everyone is invited to test, transform, and activate the pavilion through workshops, lectures, and performances. Whether it's building new structures with scaffolding material or creating evening programs together, the Climate Pavilion will be a shared space to reimagine how we build movements together.
Visitors can engage in conversation with the creators through an interactive program and walk together from the Atrium to Humanity Hub, which will become a meeting place for deeper reflection, dialogue, and networking during those three days, taking place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Humanity Hub.
- Tuesday, June 10 – Exhibition Opening & Networking Event
- Friday, June 13 – Workshop on (De-)Constructivism & Panel Discussion on Collaboration and Community Building
- Wednesday, June 18 – Film screening of YUMI (location TBD)
Join the creators in shaping this evolving laboratory for activist research and collective empowerment.
The creators of the Climat Pavilion do not have a website. They will only be available on June 10, 13, and 18 for more information about this project.
