Stichting Couvéehuis Statenkwartier was founded with the aim of organising a suitable offer for the residents of the Statenkwartier in addition to the already existing activities of Welzijn Scheveningen (welfare centre in Scheveningen), so that more residents of the Statenkwartier find their way to Het Couvéehuis.

Our foundation therefore takes stock of the needs and initiatives of the residents of our neighbourhood. In collaboration with the Wijkoverleg Statenkwartier and Welzijn Scheveningen, we use this input as the basis for creating suitable activities that fit in with the annual agenda of Het Couvéehuis.

For example, every third Sunday afternoon of the month, we organise a special activity (Couvée Matinee) in the Couvée House for the residents of Statenkwartier, as laid down in our annual plan.
