Peace Conference Artists Statenkwartier

Around the NATO summit June 24 and 25, KS artists will host a peace conference.

In a room inside Couvee House, similarly shaped cathedrals will stand in a circle. For example, 10 of them. These cathedrals are made from different types of recycled wood. The cathedrals are crafted/ turned into a work of art by the different artists.

The visitors, in this example 10 per x will stand behind the catheter and will briefly engage in conversation about peace. What is your idea about peace and justice?

Possibly post-lts will be made with key words from this mini conference and pasted on the wall by a staff member/artist.

After this short action, visitors may unfold the lectern.

The top opens completely and the front of the lectern folds down, thus creating a space where the artist shows his own vision on the theme: PEACE and RIGHT

The insides are decorated , a mini-3 D world can be built inside or a booklet with drawings. In short, a world that comes as a surprise.

On the outside the cathedrals are all the same not painted, no buttons or batteries etc. The cathedrals are uniform.

As a visitor, after engaging in conversation you walk around all the cathedrals to see all the art and then leave the room.

There will be space inside the Couvee House for further conversation over drinks and snacks, and a book market with books related to the theme.
