- Location: Speakers corner, Haagse Hogeschool

On 2 October, the book Dreams of My Sister by human rights lawyer and Member of Parliament Mpanzu Bamenga was published. In this powerful and deeply personal work, Bamenga connects social and political themes to his own life story. He writes about his flight from Congo, the 17.5 years he lived undocumented in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and how — despite injustice and adversity — he became a lawyer and elected representative.
With Dreams of My Sister, pressing issues such as migration, freedom, justice, and equality are given a human face. You are warmly invited to attend the book presentation, moderated by Naomi van Stapele, Professor of Inclusive Education.
