Based on the life of Somali runner Samia Yusuf Omar, the film follows her determination to compete in the Olympics despite poverty, war, and exile. As she trains against all odds, her journey becomes a powerful story of resilience and sacrifice. A moving portrait of a young woman who ran toward freedom, even when the world stood in her way.

The film will be introduced by Angélique Mbundu, founder of the iAfrica Film Festival, and Marlon Titre, director of Filmhuis Den Haag.
