Join us this Purple Friday for an evening dedicated to reflection, creativity, and community support. Before the screening, drop by our free postcard-making workshop - an open space where you can customise your own purple postcard. Write to your past or future self, to a friend, a family member, or even a stranger. Share words of encouragement, pride, and understanding - the kinds of messages you once needed, or the ones you’ve always wanted to say out loud.

After the workshop, we invite you to a special screening of Dee Rees’ Pariah (2011), a film that feels especially fitting for Purple Friday. The story follows Alike, a young queer Black woman navigating the delicate, often complicated journey of coming of age, self-discovery, and choosing honesty in a world that doesn’t always grant space for it.

Come make something meaningful, and stay for a film that continues to inspire and empower.
