Wayfinding: Connecting with Yourself and Others

  • Date: 13 June
  • Time: 16:00 - 18:00
  • Location: Amare

What helps us feel truly present — with ourselves and with other people?

In everyday life we often disconnect from our feelings, needs, boundaries or body sensations in order to adapt, function, protect ourselves, or simply keep moving. This disconnection from our inner reality makes it difficult to fully meet others. We may struggle to express what we feel, notice what we need, or stay present in contact without withdrawing, performing or losing ourselves in the interaction. At the same time, many of us long for meaningful, joyful and alive connection.

This event is an invitation to gently rebuild contact through playful exercises, movement, reflection and group interaction. Together we will experiment with presence, personal boundaries, sensitivity, curiosity and the simple joy of meeting one another more openly.

About the organiser:

Wayfinding is a psychosocial initiative by Stichting Thick Present that offers workshops, meetups and support groups combining therapeutic, somatic and creative practices. It creates welcoming spaces where people can slow down, gain new insights, and explore new ways of relating to themselves and others.
