Theater and Filmhouse Dakota

Dakota is one of eight cultural anchors in The Hague. Each city district has a Cultural Anchor  such as a library, museum, or theater. These are eight key locations throughout The Hague where art and culture are made accessible to everyone. At Dakota, we aim to introduce diverse audiences — especially those for whom art and culture are not a given — to creative experiences in an approachable and inclusive way.

Dakota is located in the heart of The Hague’s largest district: Escamp. There’s always something happening in and around our theater and cinema. You can attend a stage performance, watch a film, or take part in workshops and classes in our ArtLabs. And as the world around us continues to change, we’re increasingly working together with our local community to shape the future of our theater and film house.
